This internship is remote/virtual.


Start date/End Date: August/September 2020 – Fall and/or Winter Semesters


Duties and tasks: 


  • Work with the executive management team to create social media content for agency social media accounts. Will provide input to the agency SM plan, assist with marketing brochures, and collect photos of the various sites to use for agency marketing materials and other related projects.

  • Write and schedule social media posts that promote the Organization's original content, the good work of our grantees and donors, and support our mission.

  • Assist in updating website content.

  • Assist as needed in the planning and managing special events.

  • Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and future projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.



Key Skills and Experience:


  • Nonprofit experience preferred.

  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and collaboratively with diverse people and communities.

  • Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and/or Mac equivalents), video recording and editing, and social media programs.
